Gordon Setter History
If in the early 1800s, the Scottish duke, Alexander IV of Gordon, often barred from the farmers of the country some black and red dogs who showed a strange hunting instinct. When female in particular possessed an extraordinary sense of smell and was an infallible pointer. The duke made it her with his setters, and started a new breed, the Gordon Setter.
Gordon Setter Description
The Gordon setter differs from the English and Irish setters not only and color of its coat and which is black with mahogany call it markings but also the cause of its more robust body, thicker and shorter silky, wavy hair. The Gordon setter is not as fast as his Irish and English cousins. It is however, conscientious, even tampered a good swimmer and tireless regardless of the temperature.
